TAYLOR SWIFT’S REPUTATION tour has just kicked off and although there was some trouble in Manchester regarding seating arrangements before the gig, ultimately, fans were not left disappointed by the show that Taylor Swift put on for them.

The singer took a minute out of her performance to give credit to the people of Manchester for how they dealt with an unimaginable tragedy last May.

She said:

Concerts are supposed to be about innocence, and about joy and excitement. And what happened just over a year ago in this city was an attempt to steal that innocence. Ever since then, you’ve shown that you’re never going to let anyone forget about those victims.

You’ve shown that you have such incredible resilience to keep dancing. And to keep the innocence. And to keep the joy. And to keep the excitement. I just want to say: Manchester, it’s such an honour to play for you tonight.

Many fans at the concert tweeted that the speech had brought them to tears.

Taylor Swift will be bringing her show to Croke Park for two days next week, and tickets are the talk of Twitter right now, and not for the reason you’d expect.

Usually, people are desperately clamouring for tickets to these events, but this time, people seem to be winning Taylor Swift tickets left right and centre.

Some couldn’t care less about the tickets they’ve won, but others are trying to make the best of the situation.
